So, let's do it everyday ... and get BRB on the air !!!
Warren Haynes has invited Barry to sit in as a special guest NYE at the Roxy Theater !!! This should be an incredible jam as the two guitar monsters trade licks into the new year !!!
Thursday Dec. 30th will be exactly one year since the guys jammed at the Variety Playhouse. This should be a fun show !!! Check with The Roxy Theater for show time and tickets. See ya there

Also, we will be recording a "LIVE" CD and releasing a smokin' jazz/funk disc of some cool jams with Jeff Sipe, Jimmy Herring, Tomas Ramirez, Count M'butu and others recorded over the last year.
We want to thank all our friends and fans for coming to the shows and supporting our music and we look forward to seeing you in the new year. Special thanks to Barron Ruth for getting us the gigs, Paul Kelly for producing the CDs and Stormin' Norman Wilson for doing the web site.
HAPPY NEW YEAR from John McKnight, Joe "Lex" Luther, Andrew Black and Barry Richman

Most of the weekend shows will be at The Brandy House in Atlanta. There will also be some out of town gigs and a few festivals. The Col. always has special guests stopping by to jam. This weekend: the awesome Jimmy Herring !!! (from Jazz Is Dead/The Aquarium Rescue Unit/Phil Lesh and The Allman Bros). Also this month: Rob Wasserman (from Ratdog) ... and Mike Gordon & John Fishman of PHISH !!! For more info about the Col. & Fiji: www.fijimariners.com/. Our own Barry Richman will be interviewed on Atlanta's radio station Z-93 (92.9 on your fm dial) this Sunday Oct 4. The show is Z's very popular "Sunday Morning Blues" from 9-11. Not only will Barry's stuff be played on the air, he will also be bringing some of his favorite blues records and CDs to play as well.
Thanks to Kirk Anderson and the GABBA Organization for having the BRB play both the Gabba Lite event at the Northside and the Gabba festival in Macon last week, from these two events Z-93 decided to interview Barry and recognize him for the player that he is. Thanks also to John, Steve and Andrew for helping make up such a great band.
the BRB will be headlining a special fan appreciation day for Allman Brothers Band fans Saturday Sept 5, put on by the Georgia Allman Brothers Society and Z-93 radio, it will be free and is at the Northside Tavern from 12-4:00, the BRB will likely play from 3:30 to 4:30. They will be playing their regular type jazz/rock/zambi stuff, this is not an ABB tribute at all.
This will be very special as Barry has a long history with the ABB and has jammed with Gregg, Dickey, Jiamo, Butch, Oteil, Derek and ex Brothers Warren Haynes, and Dan Toler on several occasions, It is not promised but supposedly several members of the current ABB will be there be there to see the magic!!! There will be a review posted next week
