<p>On his recent visit to NYC, Barry was invited on stage to sit in with guitar legend LES PAUL at The Iridium Jazz Club !!! Barry's 1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard was very happy to meet it's maker !!! After they played a tasty rendition of Django Reinhardt's "Nauges", Les asked Barry to stay up there to play a smokin' version of Duke Ellington's "Take The A Train". I want to thank Col. Bruce Hampton & Planet Zambee for some AWESOME musical adventures ! I will be taking time off from Planet Zambee to play more gigs with BRB. Year 2000 will have us playing all over the South East so keep checking our web calendar for updates. The show is Z's very popular "Sunday Morning Blues" from 9-11. Not only will Barry's stuff be played on the air, he will also be bringing some of his favorite blues records and CDs to play as well. </p>
<p>Thanks to Kirk Anderson and the GABBA Organization for having the BRB play both the Gabba Lite event at the Northside and the Gabba festival in Macon last week, from these two events Z-93 decided to interview Barry and recognize him for the player that he is. Thanks also to John, Steve and Andrew for helping make up such a great band.</p>Barry Richman Bandtag:barryrichman.com,2005:Post/50393942018-01-23T16:40:25-05:002018-01-23T16:40:25-05:00THE BRB HEADLINES ABB PARTY <p>The BRB will be headlining a special fan appreciation day for Allman Brothers Band fans Saturday Sept 5, put on by the Georgia Allman Brothers Society and Z-93 radio, it will be free and is at the Northside Tavern from 12-4:00, the BRB will likely play from 3:30 to 4:30. They will be playing their regular type jazz/rock/zambi stuff, this is not an ABB tribute at all. </p>
<p>This will be very special as Barry has a long history with the ABB and has jammed with Gregg, Dickey, Jiamo, Butch, Oteil, Derek and ex Brothers Warren Haynes, and Dan Toler on several occasions, It is not promised but supposedly several members of the current ABB will be there be there to see the magic!!!
